· Kodak, a maker of quality photographic equipment, has just made an update version of its Easyshare Software. This is an application that helps Kodak users get the most out of their photos. The newer software will help them be more creative now than ever.
· Eye-Fi, a maker of SD memory cards has its first anniversary. This company has received a “Best of What’s New” award. Not too long ago they created its first wireless memory card, and they are able to help people share photos on the go much faster.
· Fujifilm finally introduces a new instant film camera to the United States. The Fujifilm Brings Instax 200 has experienced a large degree of success in Europe and Asia for a long time. This camera uses a corresponding instant color film. This camera has an LCD display, and works very much like a digital camera, but is not a type to be transferred to the computer. It is similar to the Polaroid cameras that most people know about.
· ViewSonic introduces two sleek digital photo frames for the holidays. They will display very clearly a variety of photo formats including jpeg and BMP. The resolution of these frames will be 800x600, and the contrast ratio will be 500:1.
