4. Skill: You could purchase a device that is thousands of dollars and still take poor pictures. If you are going to purchase a more expensive model you will also need to learn how to use it. It is better to practice with a cheaper one for as long as you can get away with it and this will help built up your skill level. Besides, the better picture-taking skills you have the less you might need to invest in a camera.
When buying a digital camera, you might also want to consider one with as many editing capabilities as you want. In addition, you might also want one that can also work as a webcam or one that can be used as a camcorder.
